LA 10 RESEARCH PROJECT: LIBRARY RESOURCES
Project Requirement: Use at least two library resources.
A database is an organized collection of materials.
Our databases are collections of published research articles.
Britannica is a fact-based online encyclopedia. Search for your topic and notice the options to cite, translate, and more.
Credo Reference is a searchable collection of research materials, including encyclopedias.
Credo Reference is provided through the Boston Public Library. A username & password is required (must be signed in to your Minuteman account to view).
The Minuteman High School Library databases collection includes an A-Z list of subject databases, a video database, and more! These databases work best when searched individually.
A book chapter or section can be a relevant research source. Below are some options to try.
Google Books searches the full text of books and magazines that Google has scanned, converted to text, and stored in its digital database. Many results are not full text but you can often skim a few pages and find books that you could locate in libraries.
Search for your topic with keywords. Let us know if we can help you locate the book in the library.
Reach out to a librarian to find research sources and get research assistance.
Connect with Ms. Gleason & Ms. Jachowicz by email, Teams, or in person.
