E-BOOKS AND AUDIOBOOKS THROUGH MASSACHUSETTS PUBLIC LIBRARIES

LEA: Library eBooks and AudioBooks With LEA, you can access eBooks, audiobooks, and more from libraries across the state using your phone, tablet, or eReader. There are 345 partnering libraries with an estimated collection of over 350,000 eBooks and audiobooks! Click on the LEA link for brief setup instructions.

LOCAL PUBLIC LIBRARIES

 

 

 

Member District Public Libraries Access free ebooks and audiobooks through your local public library or the Boston Public Library with a free e-card. Look for services such as HooplaLibbyOverdrive, and Sora among others. Contact your library for information about your log in account. Library staff are usually available by phone and email even if the library is closed.

ACCESS E-BOOKS AND AUDIOBOOKS WITH SORA

Sora's here. Check it out. Sora is a new reading and listening site and app from OverDrive and Minuteman High School. With Sora, students and staff can access a large collection of eBooks and audiobooks for independent reading.

Students can read or listen to these books using a computer, phone, or eReader. Get directions and learn more with our Sora resource guide.

HOW DO I FIND E-BOOKS AND AUDIOBOOKS AT THE MINUTEMAN MEDIA CENTER

Some e-books and audiobooks are available from the Minuteman High School Library Media Center Catalog: Go to the library catalog and search for the e-book or audiobook that you would like to check out. Use the step-by-step instructions below.

Access ebooks, audiobooks, comics, and more with an eCard, available to all Massachusetts residents. See our guide about how to get a free Boston Public Library eCard.

- Teen Book Cloud

Offers teens of all reading levels access to a robust collection of eBooks, enhanced eBooks, audiobooks, graphic novels, National Geographic videos, and hundreds of quizzes and other teacher resources.

Audio Book Cloud

Audiobook Cloud is a collection of free audiobooks. Listen online to audio books in many different categories: fiction, non-fiction, classics and Spanish language. There are 1,000 books in the collection. These books are always available, never on hold, and no need to download.

Audible Stories For as long as schools are closed, Audible is providing free access to a collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, no log-in or subscription needed. All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet. Click on Start Listening and select your reading interest level such as Teen or Literary Classics. 

SYNC AUDIOBOOKS FOR TEENS

SYNC is a free audiobook program for teens. Access two free SYNC audiobooks per week with the Sora reading and listening site and app. Email registration is required. Check out all of the titles!
