October: Senior Project / Library Media Center Check-In (Nearpod Slides)

  • Review feedback and edit Senior Project Proposal
  • Review the Quarter Two Deliverables: Research & Product Progress Rubrics
  • Set up NoodleTools & notes template for Senior Project
  • Establish criteria/checklist for quality sources
  • Begin working on locating & citing sources and taking notes on research questions


September/October: Senior Project / Library Media Center Check-In 3 (Nearpod Slides)

  • Reminder about upcoming deliverables: Contracts/Signatures Form & Project Proposal
  • Drafting & editing Senior Project Proposal: Describe topic & product choice, conduct initial research, & formulate research questions
  • Utilize sample research questions & research questions checklist to draft original research questions
  • Plan a meeting with your mentor to review & edit Project Proposals
  • Submit Project Proposal & Contracts/Signatures forms to CTE instructor

September: Senior Project / Library Media Center Check- In 2 (Nearpod Slides)

  • Set up Portfolio for Senior year; Create Graduation Documents page
  • Get organized for Senior Project: set up a One Drive Folder (Senior Project), go to the Aspen Senior Page / Senior Project resources and save Q1 deliverables to the folder (Deliverables 1, 2, & 3)
  • Review Quarter 1 Senior Project calendar
  • Work toward completion of the Brainstorming sheets; submission to CTE instructor
  • Consider next steps including initial research and connecting with mentor
